SONALI BENDRE STARTS A FACEBOOK BOOK CLUB

Sonali Bendre, who turned author recently with a parenting book, has launched a Facebook book club. Called 'Sonalisbookclub', the actress wants to form a community of readers to share their views and discuss books. “If you can’t discuss a book with your friends after reading it, it’s boring. These days everybody leads a hectic life and when you meet, you talk about other things. But on social media there’s an information highway and everything comes fast. By forming the book club on Facebook I am marrying the old habit of reading with new technology. Here we can hangout, discuss, explore new ideas and authors,” says Sonali.

The book club is off to a good start already. The first book picked by Sonali is sci-fi novel Wool by Hugh Howey. “Sci-fi is my fav genre," smiled Sonali
