SANJAY KAPOOR TO MAKE HIS TELEVISION COMEBACK AFTER 13 YEARS
It’s been quite a while since we saw Sanjay Kapoor on screen. The actor who was missing from all the action is finally here to make his comeback on television. Last we saw Sanjay was in 2015 film Shaandaar which also starred Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
It will be after a long span of 13 years that Sanjay shall return to small screen. It was back in 2003 when he made his TV debut with show Karishma - The Miracles of Destiny opposite Karisma Kapoor.
Sanjay will now been seen in this TV show titled, Ishq Gunaah which is an Indian adaptation of the Turkish romantic-drama Aski-Memnu. His character will be of a widower who falls in love with a younger woman – played by Smriti Kalra. The makers have already wrapped up show’s Goa schedule and are currently shooting in Mumbai. The show premieres in August on star plus.
A source close to the makers revealed, “It will feature some other notable names like Vikram Bhatt, who is on-board as the creative director, and it will be directed by the Bengali filmmaker Abhijit Das.”
